Topographical Surveys

Contours, levels and features captured so the design sits on the land that is actually there.

Topographical Surveys in field work across Waikato, Auckland and the Bay of Plenty

A topographic (site) survey records coordinates and heights across a site. From that data we produce spot height maps, contours, or a full terrain model for architectural, landscape or structural design.

Two ways to capture the site

Traditional land survey with total station and GNSS, or a drone survey. The drone also delivers a high resolution orthomosaic, which makes the topography far easier to read, and is usually faster and more cost effective on large sites.

FAQ

About topographical surveys.

What does a topographic survey include?

Coordinates and heights across the site, delivered as spot heights, contours or a terrain model. We capture with total station and GNSS, or with a drone when an orthomosaic will help the design team.
