Cadastral

Boundary Surveys

Know exactly where the line is, before a fence, a dispute, or a sale makes it expensive.

Boundary Surveys in cadastral work across Waikato, Auckland and the Bay of Plenty

Fences are often not on the legal boundary. Occupation can be smaller than the title, and neighbours can disagree for years. A licensed cadastral surveyor settles the line with evidence, not opinion.

LINZ boundary reinstatement

A Licensed Cadastral Surveyor re-establishes a property's legal boundaries using existing survey records and physical evidence. Where required, boundary marks are placed and a Record of Survey is lodged with LINZ.

Boundary identification

When old marks are missing or unclear, we locate the existing boundaries and, where needed, mark them with survey stakes. This is the right tool for fencing projects and sites where a full LINZ reinstatement is not required.

FAQ

About boundary surveys.

What is a LINZ boundary reinstatement?

A Licensed Cadastral Surveyor re-establishes a property's legal boundaries using existing survey records and physical evidence. Where required, boundary marks are placed and a Record of Survey is lodged with LINZ.

Is an identification survey enough for fencing?

Often yes. When old marks are missing we locate the existing boundaries and can mark them with survey stakes. A full LINZ reinstatement is the stronger public record if conflict is likely.
